Came across the below BI Report and was wondering how they did this. I assume the data bars done using multiple tables with padding set for separation but can't figure out how they prevent me from seeing the focus mode bar...any idea? They do the same thing on the Growth Rate card.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I didn't notice that.
It seems that a shape with 100% transparent line and has no fill is overlaying the other visuals because a white bar appears when I click on the area surrounding and where the bars are in.
Hi @admiralman
It appears that the report author has enabled "Hide the visual header in reading view" released in March from Options > Current File > Report Settings.
Wouldn't that hide all of them? The ones on the What If Parameters still work.

You are right...They have a tranparent image completely over the top half and only over the KPI to prevent being able to click on the underlying visuals. Thanks.
Thats what I thought but when I tried to simulate it the focus mode came to the front even when I put the shape on top.
It could be different once published and on reading mode.
Nope...still does it.
I will try simulating this on Monday when I get back to work and hopefully figure out how it was done.
