We are using the Power BI Desktop application to create reports and load data from the API using the Web option. The API returns JSON, which we convert to a table for our reports. However, we encounter an error (“The current preview value is too complex to display”) when the API returns large datasets, specifically a table with 200 columns and 2,000 rows. Smaller datasets work without any issue.
Is there a limitation with the Power BI application on dataset loading? Is there a better approach?
Thank you.

Can you not ignore that and do your parsing manually?
