There is no option for Mysql on Power BI Report Builder.

Do you know if there is any way to solve this?

hi @Anonymous , as per @amitchandak the challenges you have is the service vs on-prem. mysql cant be accessed via the report builder in the way we can do it on an on-prem server (whereby normal report tools will do, with a DSN created). gateway will be the easiest way to access the data for online paginated reporting.

Why in Power BI can I access Mysql and in Power BI Report Builder I cannot?

I'm not talking about an ON-LINE environment, which doesn't work either. I'm talking about an ON-PREMISES environment.

That limitation is such bizarre !

I am having to replicate the mysql data to an Oracle Database just to be able to generate a report. What is the logic of this?
