How can I build a scatter plot diagram that does not need an aggregation on the y-axis

hi community,

I want to build a scatter plot diagram where I show on the x-axis the timeline and on the y-axis the value for all my objects. This should look something like this:

However, the scatter plot diagram only lets me plot it when the diagram uses an aggregation on the y-axis which I dont want.

Is there a workaround? Another graph that I need?

Thanks and br,

Benjamin

Hi @bennisteges ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.

I took the below sample data

Objects  Year

0             2025

5             2020

10           2015

15           2010

20           2005

I have placed Year column on X- Axis and Objects column on Y-Axis.

As per your Query, you don't want to aggregation on the y-axis . Right click on Y-axis field (Objects) and select Don't summarize option (It will not aggregate the values)

Please refer below snap for your reference.

Thanks! It was an issue at the end that the x-axis (year) was not recognized as number
