Hello
I have loaded a source data file and I have made several amendments.
How can I apply the same amendments to a different source data file?
Do both files need to have the same structure, like column headers, number of columns etc?
Thanks!

hi @Anonymous
it's highly recommend to use files with the same structure.
but you can use duplicate function in the Power Query Editor mode.
after finish of transformation first data source - right click and duplicate and correct input parameter in first steps (Source, navigation, etc..)

When for example, I select to replace some values in specific columns and edit the format in other columns, when I load a new source, will these be applied to the same columns based on their header or based on their position in the table, e.g. 1st row, 2nd row etc?
In other words, if I load a different source file that has columns with the same headers but in different order, and I apply the same workflow, will the changes be applied to the right columns based on their header or to the wrong columns based on their position (which will have changed)?
