How To Connect Power BI to Hosted MySQL Database in Cpanel
Good day house,
Please, I am currently experiencing a challenge with Power BI and will appreciate any help/suggestion I can get.
I have a MySQL database which is hosted on cPanel hosting and I want to connect to it using Power BI desktop and already installed the recommended mysqlconnector, but i do not know how to connect it so I'll would really appreciate your help

How To Connect Power BI to Hosted MySQL Database
When trying to connect with MySQL Workbench, I realized remote connections had to be enabled on the cPanel hosting. Once done, I was able to connect with Power BI.

Anonymous , what is the error you are facing?
On the power bi machine install MySQL workbench and check you are able to access it. Ip whitelisting can be an issue
Also, make latest .net driver is installed
