When you use a bar chart to show the data, in some cases, you may want to add a vertical line into the bar chart to obviously show the average of the data. How to add a vertical/average line to a bar chart in Power BI?

Go to the Analytics pane (weird sort of magnifier looking type icon with too short of a handle) under your VISUALIZATIONS and then expand "Average Line" and click "Add".

What if the average number changes frequently? In the above solution we need to write hardcoded but as the data changes or increases then what to do with the average number?
