Hi,
We are using direct query option to get data from DB(Oracle) to Power BI. Can sombody explain how direct query impact the perfomance of the DB? As we are going to develop mutiple reports using direct query will it cause slowness in the DB?

Hi Maddy,
Please refer to desktop-use-directquery#important-considerations-when-using-directquery and desktop-directquery-about#when-is-directquery-useful.
Regarding the performance, because most of the data is fetched when the report is consumed, the workload of the database is heavier than the import mode.
