High RAM consumption

When I open a document in my job's notebook, Power BI's process takes ~200 MB of RAM. Yesterday I downloaded the latest version of PowerBI, opened the same file and the RAM consumption was about +2,0 GB. My computer, a few minutes ago, just ran out of memory and started to crash (problems began appearing with video card driver and applications) because Power BI was consuming ~4,0 GB of RAM. Every time I open Power BI, it eats the whole RAM of my computer and crash everything on it. Any ideas of what is causing it?

@Anonymous ,

The ram consumption depends on the model complexity, I would suggest you refer to the optimization guidance below to improve the data model:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/power-bi-optimization
