Hierarchy slicer that syncs between pages

Hello,

I am using the visual Hierarchyslicer from the marketplace. It works well but does not sync between pages. I am looking for an alternative solution so I only have to make once the selection and this is kept on all pages. e.g. can I do the selection in the hierarchy slicer and save the selection in a variable and use this on the next page? 

The hierarchy I use consist of Busisess Units that have not have same levels under them. So 1 business unit has 3 levels and the other has 6.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

I believe that they were adding support for Sync Slicers to third-party custom visuals but mileage will vary on whether it gets added to a specific custom visual.
