Hi all,
I have created a very simple Hierarchy from a google sheet in a table which shows...Region>Area>Warehouse
It should only have 3 regions, however, when I look in the filter it shows a blank as an option.
Any ideas why this is happening and apart from unchecking it in the filter, is there a way to remove it permanently.
Thanks
Hi @villa1980 ,
Based on the description, check that there are no blank values in table. Using filters to exclude blank values.
Then, recreating the new hierarchy after cleaning the data.
Best Regards,
Wisdom Wu

Hi @villa1980, how many tables do you have in PowerBI? Please share screenshot of your data model.
The issue you face often happens when you have a relationship between tables and "one side of relationship" is missing some values present at "many side".
In case you deal with a flat table (i.e. you have only 1 table in your data model) then check PowerQuery, maybe it's reading some empty rows from you data source (it could happen for different reasons).
Good luck! 🙂
