Hierarchy Slicer using a parent child relations

Hello All,

We are currently using Hierarchy Slicer to display a tree - but we have some issues:

1) We've reached the 4k limit

2) The tree is slow to load

3) The stucture of the data must be by levels (and it's a duplication of data) which makes the dataset more than 1GB.

We have trees with more than 1M items, so the 4k limit is exteremly problematic.

I've heard there is a development from PBI to make a parent-child relations slicer visual

Do we have a release date for this feature?

Do we have a release date for more than 1gb dataset?

HI @omricoh,

Hierarchy slicer is a slicer, I don't think it is suitable as data viewer.

For your requiremnt, I'd like to suggest you to use R visul to show the hierarchy tree, you can refer to below link to know more about this: Hierarchy tree

For custom visual, you can contact to custom visual team to get further support.

Current power bi service contains 1gb single file size limit.I'd like to suggest you use 'live mode' connector to get data from huge datasource.
