Hierarchy Slicer to filter other Hierarchy slicer

I've have to seperate hierarchy slicer, one for a general ledger hierarchy and one for business area hierarchy.
These slicers are using the HierarchySlicer from the marketplace.

I was wanting it to filter the other base on its selection, e.g. If I select a business area that has only oporating costs and no direct costs it would remove the direct costs option for the General Ledger slicer, but at the moment the slicer keeps both, so If I select direct costs after filtering down the business area with no direct costs, all my graphs turn blank, as shown below
