Hierarchy Slicer Filter

Hi all,

     I have a Hierarchy slicer filter in my report which is downloaded from "https://store.office.com/powerbiaddininstallpage.aspx?rs=en-US&assetid=WA104380820". Going through this filter I added my dates into this and made a single selection option active. But this always takes multi selection. Don't understand why. Can anyone help me with this.
