Hide some columns in matrix

Hello :),

I'm displaying a p&l table in Power BI,columns are like :

Year 2022

Quarter 1 2 3 4

For each Quarter you have 3 columns Budget, Turnover, Vs.

Is it possible to hide some turnover and versus columns  ? (as all quarter are not yet finished 🙂 )

Thanks

Regards

Hi @Bebs ,

If you want to hide some columns, I suggest you create a table visual instead of a matrix visual, because the table visual can be more convenient to hide the columns.

1.Select "Specific column"

2.choose the column you want to hide into "Series

3.open "Apply to header" & "Apply to total " & "Apply to values"

4.Set "Text color" & "Background color" to white.

Then the "Value" column will be hiden:

Turn off "Word wrap" in the column header settings in the formatting pane (you can search for "wrap" in the formatting pane search box). Then click on the right-hand boundary of the column and drag it left until it is "hidden"
