Hide slicer based on another slicer's value

Hi all,

I have a What If parameter input slicer that I would like to display only when a certain value (John) is selected from another slicer. Right now, I can accomplish the showing/hiding of the input slicer by using a card in front it, using a conditional background color on the card to make it transparent if John is selected. See example below.

But here is the connundrum: When I select John, the What If parameter input slicer appears, but it is behind the transparent card, so I cannot input a value. The slicer becomes "visible," but not able to be utilized.

Example:

If John is not selected, a card with conditional background color hides the What if parameter input box.

Then if John is selected, then the What If parameter input box is visible, but is--problematically--behind the card, so I cannot enter a value:

I have tried the solution at this link, but it doesn't seem to work with an input Parameter slicer.

Is there a work-around that does not involve clicking any bookmark buttons, etc.? I would like to have a usable What If parameter input box appear based simply on filtering on John, but be covered up (or somehow totally invisible) otherwise.  Is this possible?

Hi @mklangley ,

After testing, we found that this may not be possible at the moment.
Some properties can't be conditionally formatted, so they can't dynamically change colors.
