Hey,
in a matrix I want to display following data:
Jan Feb Total
Count Sales Count Sales Sales
Region A 3 200$ 3 100$ 300$
Region B 2 150$ 4 100$ 250$
Region C 4 600$ 2 0$ 600$
So, for a given reason I do not (!) want to display the total of column "Count". Is there any way to hide this column?
Btw: I know the solution to display that column with white text on white background.
Thanks in advance!
BR Uli
Solved! Go to Solution.
Here is the workaround I have. Hope this will solve your requirements.
Under Column Header Properties, Turn off below two items and shrink the Sum of Count column to zero witdh.
Go to Formatting tab under visualizations and turn off column subtotals.
Maybe I was not precise enough: My matrix has
- one row "Regions"
- one colum "Month" and
- two values "Count" and "Sales"
By "Month", "Count" and "Sales" is repeated frequently. This looks like a two level hierarchy.
If I want to switch off "Count" to produce column subtotals, I'm only offered "month" to switch off. But this is not the solution.

Can you share your pbix file
Since I don't know how to upload files here are two screenshots:
This is the dataset:
And this is the matrix together with Rows, Columns and Values (in German :-))
