Hi, I wanted to enable Export data option for 1 page but not for pages. Is there a way for it?

I have a report where there are 3 pages, 1st page have table, 2nd and 3rd page have pivot table. I wanted to just enable Export data option for the 1st page. Pivot table data should not get exported.

I searched for it but didn't get a good solution.

Is there a way or trick to do this?

Hi @skanikdale

If you want to stop exporting the 2nd and 3rd pages, you can use the "Export current page only" option while exporting. This will ensure that only page 1 gets exported.

However, if you want to restrict access to page 1 for specific users, one immediate solution that comes to mind is to create a dashboard and pin only the visuals from the 2nd and 3rd pages to it. Then, share that dashboard with those specific users so they will not see the first page or its export. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-dashboards

Or use RLS

in the table visual go to general - >header icons -> icons and you will see more options , switch off it and it will remove the three dots .. option . so the users can't export that table

I am exporting by clicking on 3 dots on table visual  -> Export Data -> summarized data -> file format : .xlsx(150000 - row max)

in the table visual go to general - >header icons -> icons and you will see more options , switch off it and it will remove the three dots .. option . so the users can't export that table

Oh, sorry, I think I forgot to mention that I wanted to Export the table from 1st page in Excel format. Is there a similar option for Excel as well?

How do you export to excel ? using three dost ... -> export data or using Analyze in excel option ?
