Help with scatter chart and general visualization question

Hi all,

I am fairly new to Power BI. After using power query to transform and merge queries I've run into a bit of a problem trying to build my report/dashboard.

What I am trying to do is graph a driver's expected delivery times versus actual delivery times for a given route. I am picturing a scatter chart of data from two separate columns: ExpectedTime and ActualTime, with time on the X-axis and order number on the Y-axis. However I can't really get it to display what I would like it to. Is there a way to accomplish this in PowerBI? Am I using the right visualization for the task? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a sample of the data I am trying to put into a visualization:

DriverNameOrderNumberExpectedTimeActualTime
DRIVER111:00:00 PM12:55:00 PM
DRIVER122:00:00 PM2:05:00 PM
DRIVER133:00:00 PM3:10:00 PM
DRIVER144:00:00 PM4:05:00 PM
DRIVER155:00:00 PM5:10:00 PM
DRIVER166:00:00 PM6:20:00 PM
DRIVER177:00:00 PM7:10:00 PM
DRIVER188:00:00 PM8:30:00 PM

  • newbie2powerbie , You need to have this time in second or minutes to use that on the axis of scatter visual

    Example

    expected time in sec = hour([expected time])*3600 + minute([expected time])*60 + second([expected time])
