The error message says
pbidesktop.exp fatal error
CLR error 80004005 The program will now terminate
my other question is, is it possible to retrieve an earlier power bi file from the online Power Bi workspace?
Thanks

Hi @Jay2077
the first question answer is to reinstall Microsoft .Net Framework to the latest version according http://support.drtax.ca/ufile/kb/windows/source/webpages/kpu240-20160725100718ar.htm#:~:text=Error%2...
the second - no, there is no such option to get previous versions of pbix from Power BI workspace
Hi @Jay2077 ,
Whether it can be opened depends on the version at the time of publishing.
The old version of desktop cannot open the report published in the new version.
Best Regards,
Liang

@Jay2077 , if you have published in the past , you can download it pbix.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-export-to-pbix
I am able to download it would the published file also be corrupt?

Hi all,
I have the same issue.
I reinstalled Microsoft .Net Framework to the latest version and reinstalled PBI desktop app but the issue (CLR error: 80004005. The program will now terminate) persists everytime I try to open the file.
Any suggestions?
