Help with a Tough Query Edit

dtr1.PNGdtr2.PNGdtr3.PNGdtr4.PNGdtr5.PNGdtr6.PNG

I'll include screenshots for reference but I am dealing with a very non-intuitive excel to PBI conversion issue. My excel file is a running list updated 3 times a week. There are 3 headers that I need to have in PBI, 2 of which are Merge and Centered in excel. Any help on how to transform this into a easy to manipulate PBi report would be appreciated.

The only solution I have found thus far is to create 4 new excel sheets and redo all the headers. But I would much rather pull in one sheet each time I want to update the graphics.

I can upload the raw excel file if that would be more insightful when I return to the computer it is stored on.

Also note that the data has been heavily adjusted for security purposes.

Hi @Anonymous ,

In fact, I'd recommend you to do pre-formatting on excel side. It should reduce difficulty on query table conversion steps.

BTW, complex table query steps is hard maintain. You need to modify query steps and expression each time excel workbook structure changes.

It can be done. Probably wont be easy, but I'm pretty sure anything can be really done in PQ and DAX. Can you upload a sample file?
