Help with Totals

Hi, this will probably be an easy solution for someone.

I'm having issues with the built-in matrix column totals not totalling.

Screenshot 2023-07-04 120100.png

I want the row totals to SUM the numbers in the matrix but it seems to be doing something else.

Fairly new to Power BI so am struggling to find a solution.

The values are populated using a measure that is converting text from another table to a number.

Measure 3 = If ('acc ServiceDeskReporting'[Breach_Month]="Y", 1 )

Any assistance would be appreciated 🙂

Thanks @Anonymous, I'll give that a try.

I managed to solve it with

Measure 4 = SUMX(
  VALUES('Table'[Date]),CALCULATE([Measure 3]

))

Cheers

Hi @SMD75 ,

Please have a try.

Create a measure based on the above.

 measure_4=var _b=SUMMARIZE('table','table'[date],"aaa",'table'[measure 3])
return
IF(HASONEVALUE('table'[date]),[measure 3],SUMX(_b,[aaa]))
