Hi all,
I've got a table I've imported which has values for different sites, each of the sites has a date value being the 1st of each month for the figures.
When I have this table connected to my date table, the date slicer must be on the 1st of the month to show these values. so if the slicer is 02/01/2023 it will not include the values for that month.
What can I do to resolve this issue, is there a way I can create a measure that will SUM these values if any date in a month is selected? This is what I need to be able to resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance !
Are you saying that all the data has dates with the 1st of the month? And the date field from the Calendar table in the slicer can be anything but you want the data for the month selected to show in a visual.
Is it a better idea to create a slicer with Month only or Year/Month? That's achievable using extra columns in the Calendar table
That would be a solution but users want the ability to select specific between date values.
I'm looking for a measure that will SUM all values of a month selected in the date slicer.
