Hi,
I'm trying to use percentilex.INC to get the 90th percentile value of my average score.
I just don't understand why its giving me a higher score than my Average is.
I'm trying this measure:
90th percentile 2nd =
PERCENTILEX.INC(
VALUES(
Ark1[Score]),
CALCULATE([Avg_Score]),
0.90
)
using all cases, this returns 13.40, but my average score is only 8.5.
I would imagin that 90th percentile should be a sligtly lower score from what I've read.
I've attached the pbix in case someone can help me with this.
Thanks.
Hi @Anonymous - try below measure to calculating the 90th percentile
90th Percentile Score =
PERCENTILEX.INC(
ALL(Ark1),
Ark1[Score],
0.90
)
and then calculate the average score measure
Avg_Score = AVERAGE(Ark1[Score])
Hope it works.

Hi,
i think this just gives me the 90th percentile of the score. Not the average of the ID's in the 90th percentile as is what I would like.
Thanks
