To address your query regarding customizing the order of the "Cost Category" and moving "Fees" to the bottom, here’s how you can achieve it:

  1. Add a new column in your data source to define the custom sort order (e.g., Sort Order).
  2. Assign numerical values to each category based on the desired order, ensuring "Fees" is given the highest value so it appears at the bottom.

Using this approach, the table order is adjusted as expected. Below is a screenshot demonstrating the results:

NOTE : For specific rows there is no possibility of applying conditional formatting.

A caluclated column with the formula column = if (cost Catergory =" Allowance",1,If cost Catergory = "Fees,"2, if(cost Catergory=''fOM",3, Similarly, you can build the remaining categories and enter numbers according to the category.

sort this cost Catergory column with caluculated column

everything is set

Yes thanks for the Sort Order solution.

There is currently no option to conditionally format row or column categories. You can conditionally format the values instead but without bold.

Theoretically you can use SVG to embolden individual cells, but it's a lot of effort.

Did that with some personal projects but it was a lot of effort plus the exported data has the SVG codes instead of the actual values.

@ashmitp869 99.999% certain the answer is "no" for a matrix visual. There are basically no individual or conditional formatting for row headers or column headers.
