Help me fix RANKX

Hello,

I have a table with many columns, among which are Area and the Value. I want to rank the Areas by the Sum of Value. I have created Total Value measure which is a simple SUM of Value. Then I have created these two Rankx measures, which are similar but the first one sort DESC and the second one ASC.

See in the screenshot what I get:

So it works for only 1 Area and all other areas have the same rank value, either 1 or 75 (which is the count of areas -1)

:((((

This is crazy, just created another table from the original one by applying a simple filter:

ALL_2 = FILTER('All', 'All'[Area] <> "World")

and when created rank measures against this table, they do work!!!

Hi, @Sab ;

I tested it ,and it is right .can you share your [Total Value] 's measure ,may be it will helpful to  this error.

Rank asc = RANKX(ALL('Table'),[Total value],,ASC)

@Sab

Use ALLSELECTED ( 'ALL'[AREA] ) instead of ALL ( 'ALL'[AREA] ) inside your RankX function

@Sab

Without enough information, it's hard to make assumptions. make dummy files with sample data and share them.

Check your data model and the relationships.

Hey @Sab ,

the formula looks good.

Can you share the file? There must be something wrong.

Best regards
Denis
