Help getting sum in specific date

Hi,

   I have data that has the Planned effor by day and a specific iteration start/end date. I want to get the totol effort on the start iteration start date and end date. the current chart looks like this. Its a burn down char.

    So I want to have the total effort for the start date of iteration that should be 107 and the total effort of the end date of the iteration that is 64. I tried this but got 6.44k. The Chart does do it correctly but I want measure so I can then do other calculations based on these values.
