Help converting a numeric range to a percentage

Hi all - first official post here 🙂

I'm working on a performance report for our business group.  For their purposes they grouped different OUs' KPIs together and established a consolidated scoring system of -1  >> +1.  We did some cool visuals based on that, overlayed it to a national heatMap and it is receiving some good feedback.  On to Phase 2.... The next ask is to provide more detailed information to each OU, including more specific financial information for projects, % of goal achieved, etc.

As I'd imagined, the -1 >> +1 scoring range is confusing some consumers of the information, and now they'd like that range converted to a percentage.  I've tried quite a few DAX suggestions to no avail, and was hoping to get some help here.

TL;DR -- I need numeric scoring range of -1 to 1 converted into a percentage, where -1 = 0% and +1 = 100%

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Try this calculated column:

zPct = ([OriginalRating] + 1) / 2

and format as a percentage.
