Help - Select Measure Format Question

Goal: I need to be able to differentiate the "SIOs" with the other metrics such that if I select SIOs, it will be formatted as decimal with one digit. If I select the other measures, it should be dollar with one decimal.

Formula:

Problem: If I select SIO, it gets a dollar sign (format above: currency whoch is understandable):

I am looking a solution that if I select SIO, it will not have decimal whereas if I select the other metrics, it will have a dollar sign. For example, I selected Pricing Amount (this is correct):

The problem is the SIO. Can anyone help me please? Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Except for calculating groups, bookmarks are also an option. Here is a blog, you could refer to it:

And this is my test:

Hi @Anonymous ,

The problem with using a switch measure is that the format will be the same for all the measures within your formula in this case you have one measure that does not fit, however if you also try to use the format syntax you will get the values has text and they cannot be used in a chart.

In this case you need to use the calculation groups check this blog post  about changing the formatting based on the calculation groups.

Miguel Félix
