number of tables pulled

How number of tables/views can we see when we connect to a schema in a Database?

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm not so sure why you need to increase these numbers, normally power bi will show all valid and recognized objects.

If you mean the max amount of power bi desktop data model limitation. Current power bi desktop seems not mention limitations on data table amount, they should according to data table size and available device memory/hard disk size.

HI @Anonymous ,

 

When you connect to a data-source like a database (SQL Server) from Power BI, you will see the list of tables in the database as shown below:

The highlighted number in the above screenshot, tells you the number of tables in the database.

Power BI can pull any number of tables you want to bring in from a database.
