Help! Pulling from one Column based on values across multiple Columns

Hello Power BI Community!

I am very new to Power BI, and I think the answer to my question might be simple, but I am having a difficult time finding similar issues on the forum with solutions.

Essentially, I have two tables similar to the following:

Note: The 'Role 1-6' on the first table are client specific, and are not the same variable as 'Title' on the second.

Example 1.PNG

Example 2.PNG

The two things I need to achieve but can't seem to figure out are:

  • How can I create a visual that when using a data slicer for Employee, will pull all Client's they work on?
    • For example, I want to click on Jane, and see that she works on Clients 1 - 6 or that Tom is on Client 1, 3, and 5.
    • I can get this visual to work, but it only pulls from 'Role 1', and doesnt incoproreate the other columns
      • So if I press Jane, zero data results. If I press Tom, as he is on Role 1, I get that he is on Client 1 and 5, but not 3.

  • Basically identical second issue: How can I create a slicer where I press on Tom's name, and see that he works on an accounts with of difficulty of 2, 3, and 5?

I hope I have made this question clear! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@JRAIRSI , I think you should unpivot role1 to role 6 columns in the power query
