Hi
I just took an online cousre that showed a bumnch of advnce stuff, unfortunaltely I was never shown basics like how to just leave gthe values in a calculated column so you can remove the two base columns. Like copy Paste Special Values in Excel.
Hey @330SMG ,
that is not possible in DAX. There a calculated column always needs the columns that it's referring to.
But in PowerQuery that is possible. Every step by itself is completed. So after you create a new column in Power Query you can delete the referred columns in the next step.
If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍
Best regards
Denis
