Heat Map (Using Matrix Table) : Sorting Dates by Row & Columns

Hello Guru's,

Hope this hasn't already been answered, i'm trying to sort my table by the months of the year on columns and days of the the week on rows. See below screenshots. I've filter out Saturday and Sunday as they are not required, so when the week day is number it goes from 2 to 6, and months 1 to 12 as standard. When I try to use the name of the month I get a different result, noting that both tables are working of the same dataset (sorted exactly the same).

Is there a way to sort the bottom table columns by month, and rows by day of week? OR is there a way to use the top table and substitute the numbers for the month name/weekday name?

and an example of the data.

Hi @Poolboy_Q

You need to click on the Month Name column and then Sort By Column which is up in the ribbon.  Use the Month Number column that you have used in your first table as the basis of sorting the Month Name.  This will solve the issue 🙂

Easy! thanks @TheoC

My problem was not clicking on the desired column before sorting the numbered column!
