Header Symbols?

Hi, where are the header symbols? The symbols are gone after the April ´25 update.

Hi,

the solution is de-install and re-install an older version. The activation of the icons does not work as I mentioned in the post before.

Hi @ASS,

Thank you for raising this. Following the April 2025 update, Power BI introduced changes to the visual headers where the symbols are now hidden by default or shown in a simplified form. You can manually re-enable icons like Filter, Focus Mode, and More Options by selecting the visual, opening the Format Visual pane, expanding the Visual Header section, and toggling the desired icons ON.

If needed, you can also use Reset to Default to restore default header settings. However, please note that while individual icons can be re-enabled, the overall header layout and design style introduced in this update cannot be reverted to the previous version. Microsoft is continuously gathering feedback for future enhancements.

If this post helps, then please give us ‘Kudos’ and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.

Thank you.
