Header Column

Hi!

I'm new to Power BI and it's the first time I see this error.

When I try a DAX formula, it don't recognize the column header name.

For exemple: I want to do a IF with the column "idade" (age in portuguese 🙂 ), and goes like this:

The "idade" (age) field is numeric.

Thanx for any help!

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you are trying to use column inside the measure then you need aggregator functions like max,min,sum.

So for your case it would be like this

Test = if(max(table[idade ]....

Thanks,

Samarth

@Anonymous  if you need the exact value then you can use VALUES() function.

Eg- VALUES (idade)

Hi @Anonymous ,

What is your condition that you want to give in this DAX expression?

Format of IF is - IF(condition, return value for condition being TRUE, your else condition)

Eg- you want to show if age is > 10 then display "yes" else display "no"

So in that case, you will write this formula:

Result= if('tablename'[idade] > 10, "Yes", "No"))

If you could give me your exact requirement, i can help you in writing the exact query.

Please hit the thumbs up if it helps you. Thanks.
