Headache-causing PowerBI Issues

Hey all!

I hope you're doing well 🙂

I've spent hours and hours trying to find a way to overlap two visuals for my PowerBi report. This takes essentially a count of "tickets" over the last 30 days, and compares it to the previous 30 days (prior to that) to give a month-on-month comparison of tickets.

I've realised that it doesn't seem possible to do that - so have found a way to get just the "Date" and the "Counts" into PowerBi - but now I can't add the columns next to each other without it telling me "Null".

Is there anyway I can just get the columns next to each other - i.e The date - then count_ and prevcount_ to display correclty?

Any help wouold be greatly appreciated!

Hi @ScroobyUK ,

I think you can achieve this by a much simple approach by using the DATESBETWEEN() or DATESINPERIOD() DAX functions

You can share your sample data and  expected output for better response on your question from the community
