I have a query for a table in database. From it I am creating 4 visuals. But each individual visual is sending a seperate query to database in direct query mode and it is making my report slower.
Is there a way to have a single query for a table and multiple visuals load from the result.

Hi, @Anonymous
It is unavailable to have a single query for a table and multiple visuals load from the result in your scenario. During the initial Get Data experience, the source is selected. For relational sources, a set of tables are selected and each still define a query that logically returns a set of data. However, upon load, no data is imported into the Power BI store. Instead, upon building a visual within Power BI Desktop, queries are sent to the underlying data source to retrieve the necessary data. The time taken to refresh the visual depends on the performance of the underlying data source. I'd like to suggest you reduce the number of visuals and interactions with visuals to improve your report.

Also curious if there is a workaround for this now. I have a single fact table that I'm bringing in via Direct Query. I have a table visual with header detail and a table visual with child detail, but since they send queries separately, they return different results. This causes visual cross-filtering to not work.
