I have a Dimension which contains multiple dates. To support reporting I need the date hierrachy for each of these dates. Will creating alias of the date in a snowflake structure create performance or data issues? Any other alternate ways in which this can be modelled?
The dates are in the dimension and not fact. Ideally the dates cannot be in the fact due to the grain of the data.

@vini_udenia , I would prefer to merge these dates into the fact.
Now I can three date dimensions joined to fact.
Or use one date dimension and all three dates joined to that and use userelationship for inactive datesin a measure

Thank you. In my case merge into Fact makes sense as the power users will also be using the data set.
