Hi. I have the HTML Content app displaying my HTML page in PowerBI. The issue I have is I created an anchor tag on one paragraph and a button (<a> and a separate <button> tag to test which worked). The navigation is only within the current HTML page in the visual. I'm not linking outside of the HTML page ... just within it.
The <a> nor the <button> works to navigation within the page. I thought the app did this and only had issues if linking to anything outside of the current HTML page.
Has anyone had the same issue? What can I do to solve this issue?
Thank you for your advice and help.
Jim
Hi @JimGAR,
It's possible that the issue you're experiencing is related to how the HTML Content app is rendering your HTML page. Here are a few things you can try to solve this issue:
Check your HTML code: Make sure that your <a> and <button> tags are properly formatted and that their href attributes are pointing to the correct location within the HTML page. You can also try adding an id attribute to the element you want to navigate to, and using that id in the href attribute.
Use Javascript: If the HTML Content app is not working as expected, you can try using JavaScript to handle the navigation within the HTML page. You can add a click event listener to your <a> or <button> element, and use JavaScript to navigate to the correct location within the HTML page.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Isaac Chavarria

Thanks, Issac. I'll try your suggestions. Also, I do not see WebView2 on the visuals store. Is it another name?
Just corrected my reply!
Thanks
