HELP NEEDED - "New Data" count from last refresh

Hi all,

I have data source that refreshes daily.  The data being pulled is from the last 3 months.  I would like to show which days got an updated figure (count, sales ect) since yesterday's data refresh.

Could someone kinldy outline what steps/method I should try?

I was thinking that I might have to make a summarized table showing each day a refresh occured.  But I can't figure out if this is the right thing or even how to make this a nicely automated process.
