Grouping Consecutive dates as 1 entry

Hi,

I have the table below which shows dates people were off sick. Problem is there is no Start & End date, just one continous date.

So if someone is off e.g 04/05/06 ie 3 consecutive days then this is 1 entry.

I'd like to show how many times someone was sick rather than how many days.

Below pic hopefully makes it clearer.
