I want to filter a grid or visualization by clicking on a row in another grid. I know this can be done by using a visualization such as a graph or map as the driver of the filter but this option is not available for a grid or a grid row as the driver. This seems to be pretty basic functionality that is available in any other tool I've used. Am I missing something?
It sounds like you want to select a row or rows in a table to filter other visualizations on the report. If that's it, you're not missing anything; Power BI is! Go vote on the idea here for it to gain more traction.
