Graphs and charts by week, then by employee?

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to Power BI, and I'm hoping this forum will be able to help me out! I'm using SharePoint Lists for employees to input weekly productivity reports (clients seen, assessments scheduled, etc.), and I'm working on connecting them to a SharePoint report. In the report, I'd like to compare our employees' productivity by week instead of by their overall totals. My goal for this is that I can easily make sure everyone is completing their reports as required without manually going into SharePoint and checking for each employee's report.

If you can think of another way for Power BI to check for their weekly reports, I'm more than open to that too! Our team is relatively small; I believe we will have about 20 people completing these weekly reports across our 4 programs.

@susannataylor it should be straight forward you should connect power bi to sharepoint lists to get the data and then make sure to add date dimension in your table. Once the date dimension is added, mark it as a date table on table tools.

After this, you can view the data by year/month/quarter/week whatever granularity you want.
