I would like to show the line graph based on selected value of YYYY and MM and x axis should change accordingly . Dots are 12 months aggregration metric of sales. Date ranges are on x axis

Hi, I understand your situation.
Let me understand what you are trying to ask - and that is -
i. To show x axis as selected value from date table and previous months which should be aggregation of sales from each month.
Firstly, you might require to fix the date table. Don't put a range rather Month-Year which could be in MMM-YYYY - So fix that on table side. If you are using the date table directly from the fact table than I would recommend creating a dimensional table and connecting that dimensional table with the dates of fact table and use that dimensional table for the graph.
