Dear Together,
I got a requirement to create a graph to represent the project growth. I tried with some measures and tables. But couldnt get the desired output. So need your support.
We have a table with project details as below.
Projects | Start | End |
Project1 | 07-2014 | |
Project2 | 10-2014 | 12-2015 |
Project3 | 01-2016 | 12-2016 |
Project4 | 05-2016 | |
Project5 | 02-2017 | 12-2018 |
Project6 | 03-2018 |
|
We need to create a graph like below.
No...:(
Dear @amitchandak ,
Thanks for your guidance.
I have tried as per your blog. Still i have one issue about total projects. i would like to show total project in incremental way like below.
Year | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 |
Running | 2 | 2 | 3 | 2 | 3 |
Closed | 1 | 1 | 1 | ||
Total | 2 | 2 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
Is there any clue?
Hi @rpn7kor ,
Could you please provide the calculation logic of Running and Total? For example: Year 2018, why the number of running projects is 3, but the total number of projects is 6? How to calculate them?
Best Regards
Rena
Hi Rene,
Thanks for your message.
Year | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 |
Running (Current year + previous years) | 2 | 2 | 3 | 2 | 3 |
Closed (which are completed) | 1 | 1 | 1 | ||
Total Projects (Current year + previous years) | 2 | 2 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
For example , 2018 has total of 6 projects (2 from 2014 + 2 from 2016 + 1 from 2017 + 1 from 2018)
and has 3 running projects (total project - closed projects)
Thanks.
