I've got this Matrix where its doing totals for rows, but not columns. Also there is no grand total.
In the area in red, is the current row totals....I'm looking to get totals in the blue area.
I've tried everything I can but can't get it to work for some reason.
If your issue was that you want to see the grand total but not the subtotals, do the following:
1. Go to Row Subtotals and turn them On. Then Activate 'Per row level' to On.
2. Go to the first level of the matrix (meaning the first column in you matrix), and activate 'Show subtotal' to On. In my case, the first level was 'Client'.
3. Then, switch the 'Row Level' to your other variables, and set 'Show subtotal' to Off, one by one, for all of them.
Once you do this you should have only 1 Total row, for your first level, which will be your Grand Total.
If this helped, please mark it has the solution!
I think it might be possible, by applying a 'Row subtotal' to the first Rows category only. Turn off 'Show subtotal' for other categories:
Hello!
I am having the same issue. Could you find a solution?
Also having the same issue here
Okay for anyone else who sees this, I found the solution here:
So that link basically just says if you remove subtotals you also remove Grand totals because it's all or nothing with the Matrix...which is kind of dumb
This would be valuable, is there any vote possibility for this?
No follow up to this?
Looking the Matrix you are Values Show on Rows to ON . Right?
So every Column Insert in Values are Independent.

Yes. Is it not possible to show totals then with this turned on?

And I checked to make sure its not hiding down at the bottom with a scroll bar.
