Hi everyone,
I have an existing Power BI file with a connection to Google Analytics. I have been given permission to see another organisations Google Analytics data and wanted to test connecting to it.
Even though I can see both sites on the Google Analytics website, I can only see one in Power BI Desktop.
Is there a delay in seeing both sites in Power BI or do I need to change a setting somewhere?
Thank you in advance
@Anonymous
I am not familiar with Google Analytics, but according to this link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2884495?hl=en
There are different users permission, is there a possibility you are not given the permission to download or connect the underlying dataset.

Sorry for the delay - busy on projects here. I have edit permissions so I would have thought that means I should be able to see the data in Power BI?
@Anonymous @amitchandak hi guys - found the solution. I was able to see all the accounts I have access to in Power BI only after signing out of Power BI on the desktop version then signing back in. I had tried that initially but it did not show up. In the last few days I've been working on other client accounts so signing into those on Power BI made it ask me to sign back into Google Analytics again when I connected. Perhaps this was why.
Thank you for your help
Thank you both - I will take a look. It could possibly be because I'm not given the right permissions. Will confirm when I get to test it again.
thank you
