It appears that when I add dimensions to my data cube beyond date, some of my metric totals become incorrect. For example the dashboard on analytics.google.com shows that we had 6,500 users on our site on date X. However when I sum the users for the same data in my PBI dataset at get 7,100 users. Somewhere I have data being duplicated in my PBI cube but not sure where.
I am using the PBI connector to google analytics to bring in the data for our website.

We think this should more relate to google analytic itself, because power bi only pulls data from GA data source without any writeback and customize operations.
I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following documents and resloved post.
