Good Source to Learn DAX
Hi community,
I am new to Power BI, and I would like to learn more about DAX. Do you have any recommendations on a good place to start with, either books or online courses?

They have an intro video course that's free and they regularly post DAX articles to their website. It's my go-to site along with microsoft.

DAX Patterns is a list of common patterns to solve common problems.
When it comes to books I would like to recommend "Supercharge Power BI: Power BI Is Better When You Learn to Write DAX" by Matt Allington. It contains a lot of exercises that will help you solidify your learning. It is a great introduction to DAX.

The Definitive Guide to DAX is the DAX bible. Apparently a new edition is coming out in February 2019.
I recommend this book on Power Query; excellent writing and helps you build your understanding on the whole system for which you need DAX. It's not just for beginners, and it takes you to an advanced level you WILL need.

Then you could read this one.
Learn to Write DAX: A practical guide to learning Power Pivot for Excel and Power BI
this is a great start - short, to the point, explains most important concepts and best practices

You already got many useful resources, but you cannot get enough of DAX. Kindly check these free resources https://github.com/NajiElKotob/Awesome-Power-BI#dax don't miss the free "Introducing DAX Course" from SQLBI and the YouTube Videos (101 and Advanced), Marco Russo and Alberto Ferrari are the best.
