Getting warning on web content in power bi dashboard

Hi All,

 

I am trying to create the web content using html code in Power Bi Dsahboard,  but it is giving warning like " This widget contains web content not provide by Microsoft. Web content could contain code with security or privacy risks ". please find  my below code in web content embed code and screen shot .

Hi Narendra,

Does it work as expected after you add web content tile in dashboard? The warning is just an informational message, which will not prevent the web content tile from working. You can review the following article to learn more about the warning.

Not really helpful. The warning is understood - Except when its clearly Microsoft content beig linked to - Like SharePoint. I'm getting this error when adding content that is a link to a SharePoint site. It will not show in the "Current Area" and rather shows a sad face stating that "sharepoint.com refused to connect." And of course the warning at the upper left stating that the link is not Microsoft content. ???

Hi Lydia,

It is working fine in my dashboard ,but in top of my dashboard it is giving warning as "This dashboard contains web content not provided by Microsoft.Web Content could contain code with security or privacy risks".  My question is how we will remove that warning in my dashboard and is there any unsecure code in my  HTML code ?.

@Narendra, the warning message shows up as these web contents are not from Microsoft, it is the for security warning purpose. However, it seems there is no way to prevent it from showing up on the Dashboard, you can submit your idea on the Power BI Idea forum: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
